BEHIND THE LENS

I am a solicitor by profession and I live in London.

I started photography in 2016 and I learn mostly through experimenting and lateral application. Particularly, my work explores the potential of light, motion, shadows and reflections - in the context (but not specific genre) of abstract, creative, ICM, architecture, urban street and night photography - to evoke emotion, wonder and curiosity. It gives me great excitement and revelation to detect an unexpected perspective, observation or twist of the ordinary or to capture insightful moments of mindfulness.

My "photography bubble" enables me to step into a parallel dimension that is experiential, innovative and healing. I am in a special space when behind the lens.

As I transform positive energy into making fine art images, my images often present themselves from a vantage point I don't see with my eyes, but through my lens… often moody, mysterious, meaningful.

My photography aims to push boundaries and break rules as I believe true artistic vision is creatively captured with the heart. Using various techniques, non-literal visual interpretation and minimal post-processing without computer graphic manipulation, I focus on the process of making images and leave the outcome to speak for itself.
